During the recent upgrade of the C182's panel, we had a Garmin GNS430 IFR-approved GPS installed. (The upgraded panel is shown on the right), see the N2608R photos page for more pictures.

In order to help our members get up-to-speed with the use of this GPS, we have made a number of documents and tools available below:

Simulator: We have made the Garmin Simulator (circa 3/2006) available on our website. Note that this is VERY LARGE (14 MB) and may take some time even on broadband connections (2 Minutes on a moderately fast DSL line, for example). You may not want to attempt downloading by a dial-up connection!

Manuals: We've got the two primary documents most pilots will need here. Note that the pilots guide is quite large and is probably not good to download with a dial-up connection. The Quick Reference guide is not as bad, but will still take some time on a dial-up connection. Right-click the link below and select "Save As..." or "Save Document As..." to download the PDF document(s). These documents require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
